About Us

Water Feature Pros is a subsidiary DBA of Designing Water LLC, which began in 1997 as a pond and fountain service company in Louisville, KY. In 1999, we opened The Pond Store (a koi pond and fountain store). Our experience with thousands of service calls and retail customers laid the foundation for our broad product knowledge and application expertise, as well as our ability to effectively communicate with both service and DIY customers.

In 2006, pondandfountainworld.com was launched, allowing us to compete with national suppliers. This experience involved vetting quality manufacturers and importers while discontinuing relationships with suppliers that failed to meet our standards for product quality and accountability. Over time, our relationships with manufacturers have evolved to include off-menu customizations of standard products, expedited production capabilities, exclusive product designs, and well-developed partnerships that enable us to accomplish what others may not always know how to do.

Another key factor in our ability to deliver exceptional service is our expertise in shipping logistics. Over the past 18 years, we have gained extensive knowledge of fulfilling product shipments across the United States and beyond. Our experience in understanding freight lanes, choosing the right carriers, proactive communication, handling freight claims, and knowing the right contacts allows us to ensure that your order is delivered as efficiently as possible.

At Water Feature Pros, our goal is to exceed your expectations through our product knowledge and design assistance. Many of our products and their performance aspects may be unfamiliar to both residential and commercial customers.
